This cartridge features a 158 grain full metal jacket flat nose projectile. Why does the FMJ FN have a broad meplat? Because that lets it behave comparably to a wadcutter when it punches through a paper target, thus creating a more clearly defined hole in the process. This is the ammo you want if you’re trying to accurately assess your shot placements! The FMJ FN’s profile also lets it deal greater damage to soft tissue than a standard round nose bullet, which isn’t to say its terminal ballistics are as devastating as a JHP’s.

This ammo’s bullets are completely nonmagnetic, and also outfitted with cannelures to help prevent setback while recoil jerks them around in the cylinder. Magtech ammunition is loaded in Brazil with new brass cases and noncorrosive Boxer primers. You bet it’s reloadable! It’s also compatible with lever-action rifles.
