More Details About Our 540 Rounds of 146gr FMJ 7.62x51mm Ammo in M2A1 Can by Malaysian Military Surplus
These Malaysian-made 7.62x51mm cartridges carry military-grade performance with proven specifications and component selection. As surplus stock, this ammo was made in the 80s but was preserved within .50 caliber sized ammo cans which are commonly used by the United States and other NATO militaries. Each round was loaded with a 146-grain "ball" full metal jacket (FMJ) projectile which closely matches today's established standard for issued rounds which are used in training and combat. For recreational shooters, the bullet's flight path and recoil will match many hunting loads which makes it a great choice for zeroing optics and general range work. An affordable price for this 540-round ammo can also makes the ammunition perfect for high-volume drill work in a shooting bay.

Other components include heat-treated brass casings which have non-corrosive Berdan primers triple-staked into their base pockets. The pockets' gaps were filled in with moisture-blocking sealant for longevity in storage so you can expect the rounds to go "bang" when called upon. The ammo can itself is reusable and includes a removable lid with a rubber gasket which acts as an environmental seal. The steel box is painted OD green for uniformity and wears a convenient carry handle that can be folded in place for vertical stacking of multiple cans.
