In 1928, Prvi Partizan was founded, and they began to make a name for themselves in the ammunition world. Their plant is located in southwestern Serbia in a town called Uzice, which isn’t far from Belgrade, the capital. Today they have three modern production plants and supply all of the ammunition for the Serbian military and police, and their products are shipped worldwide for sport and hunting shooters. They produce more than 400 types of ammunition, and these 9mm rounds were designed just to fulfill your target practice, tactical training, and plinking needs.
There’s a good reason 9mm is so well-liked: lower recoil, cost, and stopping power are just the beginning. You don’t want to leave your favorite handgun collecting dust in your safe, you want to use it. That’s where this ammunition comes in. It’s made to SAAMI specifications under the watchful eyes of Prvi Partizan’s team, and the long-standing company has its own standards for quality as well. Along with that quality comes affordability; buying this ammunition won’t break the bank. And because they’re new production, non-corrosive, fresh brass cases with boxer primer, they’re reloadable. So make sure you collect your spent brass, because you’ll get even better value by reloading.
FMJ – full metal jacket – rounds such as these are meant specifically for training. They hit your target without expanding, which helps keep them more affordable, but also means you must be sure of your backstop because they’re capable of penetrating fully. These rounds are 124 grain, so they’re medium weight and travel at a muzzle velocity of 1,099 feet per second. And with a muzzle energy of 331 foot-pounds they hit with the power you’re looking for from your 9mm. There are 50 rounds in this box, making it a great start for a day at the range or perfect for when you just have a short time to practice.
