The .410 leaves the barrel of your gun with a muzzle velocity of 1225 feet per second. Next up is the .45 Long Colt , which weighs in at a hefty 230 grain. These are JHP, Jacketed Hollow Point, rounds and begin to expand immediately upon impact. Each .45 LC round has a muzzle velocity of 835 feet per second and muzzle velocity of 356 foot-pounds. This ammunition is made for self-defense.
