These cartridges fire a 168 grain Sierra MatchKing bullet at a muzzle velocity of 2,600 feet per second and, coincidentally, a muzzle energy rating of 2,600 foot pounds. MatchKings are a perennial favorite of championship marksmen (and markswomen) due to their top-notch accuracy. Each round features a boat-tailed profile and heavy bullet weight for more predictable external ballistics.
