More Details About This Winchester 147gr FMJ .308 Win Ammo
Take this inexpensive but accurate US-made 7.62 NATO ammo from Winchester to the range for some fun long-range action. These cartridges have similar specs to military M80 ball, firing a 147gr full metal jacket bullet at 2,800 feet per second. An excellent target load for M-14s, FALs, AR-10s, and other .308/7.62 rifles.

Winchester manufactured much of the military's .308 ammunition for many decades. Today, most Winchester ammo is made in Oxford, Mississippi, where the company opened a new plant in 2011.

These cartridges use non-corrosive Boxer primers and reloadable brass and come with a reusable plastic ammo can that's ready to accompany you on your next shooting trip. Each can holds 120 rounds.
