More Details About Our 1500 Rounds of 92gr FMJ 9mm Makarov Ammo by Wolf Polyformance
This is not 9mm (9x19mm) ammunition. This is 9mm Makarov (9x18mm) ammunition; incompatible with 9mm firearms (e.g. Glock 19, S&W M&P, Springfield XD).
WOW! If you’ve been struggling to find enough ammunition for your PM or other 9mm Mak pistol, then your treasure shovel has just slammed into an absolute trove. Thirty boxes of Wolf Polyformance, comin’ right atcha!
This cartridge’s components can be deceiving at first glance, as both its case and its bullet’s jacket are “bimetal.” Beneath its brass plating, its case is made of steel: more affordable than the solid-brass alternative, albeit non-reloadable. And beneath its copper-washed exterior, its FMJ’s jacket is also made of steel. That’s important to consider, because more than a couple ranges won’t allow you through their doors with bullets that can attract a magnet.
To recap: no good for handloading, and magnetic.
Old Soviet military surplus ammo’s Berdan primers are typically corrosive. This ammunition was made in the modern era of priming compound, however, and poses no risk of firearm corrosion.
