This round’s bullet and case only appear to be normal. In actuality, they both make full use of the cost-saving power of steel.

The 92 grain full metal jacket projectile’s lead core wears a bimetal jacket: nearly entirely steel, with the thinnest layer of copper to cover it. Bimetal jackets are forbidden at many commercial gun ranges, as they pose a higher chance of creating sparks and damaging said ranges’ equipment. To reiterate: this ammo’s bullets attract a magnet.

This round’s case is similarly bimetal. Just beneath its brass plating (which is present for enhanced cosmetics, smoother cycling, and protection against tarnishing), it too is made of steel. That makes this ammo not reloadable. At least you can trust its noncorrosive Berdan primers to not rust your sweet handgun!
