Cor-Bon is an ammunition manufacturer that was founded in 1982. It has an interesting background, having started when Peter Pi Sr. began making ammunition for himself and his friends for hunting trips to Africa. At the time there was a lack of ammunition for hunting large, dangerous game with handguns; defense ammo on the market lacked penetration and was not capable of delivering a clean kill. After lengthy studying of ballistics and bullets, Pi created a heavy lead-core round he named the Penetrator, and took it hunting. It was a success; he took down an elk and an American bison, each with one shot. Eventually he decided to manufacture ammunition on a larger scale, and Cor-Bon was founded.

These 9mm rounds are a lightweight 115 grain. They’re JHP’s; on impact they deliver rapid energy transfer and immediately begin to expand. Expansion is controlled by the jacket, enabling the bullet to penetrate more fully, creating a deeper, more devastating wound track. Their jackets also strengthen the bullet overall and prevent lead fouling in your gun’s barrel. And because these are +P rounds they’re capable of higher speeds and greater power overall. Each round leaves the barrel of your gun with fantastic speed at a muzzle velocity of 1350 feet per second and hits with great power at a muzzle energy of 466 foot-pounds.
