12 gauge #7.5 shotgun shells that come from a company with a rich history of precision!
On July 3, 1876, an accountant by the name of Giulio Fiocchi decided to enter the ammunition business. He founded Fiocchi Munizioni (Fiocchi Ammunition) just a short time before major changes took place in the functioning of firearms and ammunition itself, but despite those changes the company flourished. First came the change from muzzle loaders to breech loaders, which was massive enough on its own, and next came the switch from black powder to smokeless powder. Over the years Fiocchi built a solid reputation, and generations of gun owners have used their ammunition.
These particular Fiocchi rounds are made for your 12-gauge shotgun. Each shotshell measures 2 ¾” in length, which is the most common length for shotshells. Always make sure you know what length shotshell your shotgun is made to use. These rounds are filled with #7.5 buckshot and contain a 1 ounce load. 1 ounce provides plenty of power to send the buckshot within these shotshells flying towards targets with destructive force. Also, being 1 ounce rather than a larger load such as 1 1/8 or 1 ¼ means they produce somewhat less felt recoil, making accuracy easier to manage. Each of these rounds leaves your shotgun with a muzzle velocity of 1200 feet per second. This ammunition is made for target practice and shooting clays.
There are 25 rounds in this single box of ammunition from Fiocchi. The box is a great size for toting in your range bag or stacking on the shelf of your gun safe. With 25 rounds you can spend some time honing your marksmanship with your shotgun or get out and shoot some clays. Fiocchi manufactures ammunition at their longtime factory located in Lecco, Italy, but they also have a factory in Ozark, Missouri, for United States production. At times when the demand for ammunition outdoes the Missouri factory’s ability to supply it, Fiocchi flies in more from their Italian location. Place your order now and get some trigger time in with your favorite shotgun.
