This is Remington’s High Terminal Performance series ammunition, loaded with nothing other than HTP 240 grain jacketed soft point bullets. They have flat nose profiles, so there’s no need to ask if they’re good for a lever gun. They are! They also have partial copper jackets to keep rifling cleaner and promote deeper penetration. The JSP’s not a technologically sophisticated bullet, in the grand order of things, but that doesn’t stop Remington’s from achieving up to double-diameter expansion. Combine that with the 44 Mag’s legendary striking power (676 ft lbs at 25 yards; 623 at 50; 580 at 75; 543 at 100), and you’ve got a truly goliath solution to medium game hunting and personal protection on your hands.
This ammo’s components are made and assembled in Arkansas, and include superb reloadable brass cases, terrific Kleanbore primers, and another-synonym-for-excellent propellant.
