This cartridge’s SP contains exactly two metals: lead and copper alloy, which are equally incapable of budging a magnet. The SP’s hard exterior minimizes barrel fouling and deepens terminal penetration. Its soft nose supplies all that glorious terminal expansion which drops the deer deader. Classic.
Sellier & Bellot recorded this 341 power factor load’s 2,602 fps muzzle velocity using a 23.5” barrel. They also calculate its G1 BC at 0.389, which means:
