- Q & A
If you are searching for a large package of quality and proven general purpose 7.62x39mm ammunition for your AK or Mini-30 rifle, then you won't need to look any further than the package offered here.
Check out this ammo for sale: 1,000 rounds of 7.62x39mm ammunition by Tula Arms, one of the most reputable Russian firearms and ammunition manufacturers. When Mother Russia needs ammo to protect her children, she goes to the cupboard and pulls out a spam can full of these steel-cased rounds!
You will receive 50 boxes of 20 7.62x39mm rounds per box, for a total of 1,000 rounds. These rounds will definitely last you a long time, and the price is not one that can be easily beat. Each round is 122 grain with a full metal jacket (FMJ), steel case and Berdan primer. With a 122 grain bullet, these rounds will give you less of a kick and deliver muzzle energy of 1,555 feet per pound and a muzzle velocity of 2,396 feet per second, plenty fast for plinking or training. As these rounds are full metal jacketed, they are lead bullets encased in a harder metal, providing greater power and muzzle energy.
This ammo is Berdan primed the standard for European markets and much more reliable and resistant to corrosion then Boxer primers.
These rounds are manufactured by Tula Arms, one of the largest Russian firearms and ammunition manufacturers and in business all the way back since 1712. They specialize in making quality Russian military arms, such as SKS's and AK-47s, and the ammunition required for them, and that definitely includes 7.62x39mm. Tula Arms has successfully been competing on a worldwide scale and found success in American markets as well, largely due to the popularity of semi-automatic AK-type and Mini-30 rifles.
Great, consistent, cheap ammo!on 1/28/2013
I love TulAmmo in the 7.63x39. This ammo will fire consistently every time out of my Egyptian AK. I have put at least 1,000 rounds of this this stuff downrange, and have never had a single jam or misfire. It will fire rather consistent, but the accuracy starts to shave off at around 100 yards. It will burn dirty, so cleaning your weapon after use is recommended (and should be part of your regular shooting practices anyway). I highly recommend this ammo! My only wish is that it would be brass cased, but then again, if it was, it wouldn't be as cheap, either.
