More Details About Our 40 Rounds of 124gr FMJ 7.62x39 Ammo by Tula
If you’re a great fan of Russian firearms, then you’re probably familiar with Tula. The Russian company specializes in saving their customers pantloads of dough because they have nearly eliminated semi-precious copper from their ammunition. That’s why this 7.62x39 makes an economical friend to all AK-platform rifle and SKS enthusiasts!
This ammo’s most noticeable steel components are its steel cases. These are not reloadable. But they are also coated in low-friction polymer to facilitate feeding and extraction in semi-automatic firearms and equipped with completely noncorrosive Berdan primers!
This ammo’s 124 grain full metal jackets certainly look normal, but they too contain steel. Each lead-core bullet features a “bi-metal” jacket, which is entirely made out of steel with the exception of its thin copper-washed exterior. The steel a bi-metal jacket contains is certain to attract a magnet. That is important to note, as more than a few ranges will not let you fire “magnetic” bullets on their premises. If you’re not already sure of your favorite range’s magnetic ammo policy, then it’s best to check with them in advance before ordering Tula’s ammunition!
