- Q & A
In 1712 Peter the Great ordered a factory be built in the small village of Tula, Russia. The villagers were being threatened by nomads and the closest armory was in Moscow which was much too far to travel for help. Building a factory to keep the area supplied with weapons seemed to be the best solution, and it did indeed work well. Over the years the Tula Arms Plant has made everything from swords to guns to ammunition and continues to do so today, three centuries later. With 300 years of experience behind them it’s safe to say they know what they’re doing.
These .380 ACP rounds are part of the Wolf line which is a subsidiary of the Tula Arms Plant. Each round is 94 grain which is lightweight in general but actually at the heavier end of the spectrum for this cartridge size. These rounds are light enough to travel down-range at high speeds. They are FMJ, Full Metal Jacket, rounds and do not expand on impact. Target rounds such as these are prone to over-penetration so make sure you have a good backstop in place during range time. This ammunition is meant for target practice and plinking.
When you order this case of ammunition from Wolf you get 1000 target rounds. With 1000 rounds you can get some dedicated trigger time in working on improving accuracy and grouping, shooting with your weaker hand, and practicing firing from various positions. By the time you burn through the entire case your marksmanship can have improved substantially – how much is up to you. Wolf ammunition is manufactured at the Tula Arms Plant in Tula, Russia. Order now and keep your .380 ACP warm and fed.
