An SKS or AK can make a darn fine hunting rifle, but only if you use the right ammo for it. This 7.62x39mm load is one relatively cheap way to get there.
Each round in this box of 100 fires a 154 grain soft point bullet at 2,051 feet per second. The bullet is about 30 grains heavier than typical range loads for this caliber to provide better penetration against tougher targets like boar.
This ammo is made by Tula and comes in boxes of 100. Like most Russian ammo, it uses non-corrosive Berdan primers and non-reloadable steel cases.
