On July 3, 1876, an accountant by the name of Giulio Fiocchi took over a floundering plant. He put his business sense to work and set about finding ways to make the company flourish; one way was to design and make all production equipment, which is something the company continues to this day for superior quality control. He’d taken over right as breech loaders replaced muzzle loaders, which required a fair amount of adjusting, and then, just a few years later, black powder was replaced with smokeless powder. Despite the changes, he made the company grow, and today Fiocchi Ammunition is one of the biggest, oldest ammunition manufacturers in Italy.
At 124 grain these are fairly lightweight rounds for the 9mm. Of course, being lighter means they’re capable of reaching higher speeds and also means they shouldn’t increase felt recoil, allowing for more extensive range time without tiring out your hands. These are FMJTC rounds and as such will not expand on impact. Also, their Truncated Cone nose means they produce neat, clean holes in paper targets, which makes scoring easier. Each round moves down-range with a muzzle velocity of 975 feet per second and impacts your target with a muzzle energy of 310 foot-pounds. This ammunition is made to fulfill your needs for target practice, shooting drills, and plinking.
There are 100 target rounds in this can of ammunition from Fiocchi. Fiocchi produces this ammunition in new production brass cases with boxer, so they can be reloaded, and since they’re non-corrosive there’s less friction in the barrel of your gun. Fiocchi’s headquarters are located in Lecco, Italy, just as they’ve been since day one, and they also have a plant in Ozark, Missouri, for production in the U.S. When demands in the U.S. overwhelm the capabilities of the Ozark plant extra stock is shipped in from the Lecco plant. Fiocchi has a solid reputation for producing quality ammunition that performs reliably. If you have a 9mm and need to get some range time in, order this 100-round can from Fiocchi, and feed your pistol.
