Bullets, needless to say, can be very bad for your health. But did you know that just firing bullets can damage your respiratory organs? That’s because the intense heat of ignition can gasify a full metal jacket’s exposed lead core, and primers also contain heavy metals.

This 45 ACP ammunition by Blazer fixes those shortcomings. Each round’s 230 grain projectile is a total metal jacket. Unlike the traditional FMJ, the TMJ’s jacket totally encapsulates its lead core. Hot propellant gasses cannot touch the core, and accordingly cannot convert any part of it into toxic gas.

The Clean-Fire primer is completely lead-free. Better yet, it is also devoid of barium and antimony, which are also both also heavy metals which aren’t conducive to good health. That makes this ammunition a natural choice for target practice at any indoor range where ventilation leaves something to be desired.
