- Q & A
If you carry a .45 ACP because they don’t make a .46, this ammo’s for you. If you think stopping at 50 rounds is like being able to smell your favorite dessert but not actually eat it, this ammo’s for you. And if you want target rounds manufactured in America by a company that is a legend in the annals of firearms history – you got it, this ammo’s for you. Winchester makes this ammunition just for shooters like you; gun-lovers who want to feed their favorite handgun good quality rounds in high volumes.
First, a little about Winchester. The company was founded in 1866 at the height of the Wild West, which led to their making the famous Gun That Won the West, the Model 1873. Since day one they’ve been known for their dedication to quality and innovation, and they continue those traditions to this day. With more than 150 years of experience it’s no surprise that their products are fantastic or that countless experienced shooters reach for a box of Winchester rounds the second they walk into their local gun store. All their guns and ammo are made in America and must meet strict standards.
At 230 grain these are considered the heavyweights of the .45 ACP world. They’re FMJ rounds so they’re exactly what you need for target practice, tactical training, and plinking. And because Winchester manufactures them in brand new brass cases with boxer primer, you can reload them, which is pretty great. These rounds leave the barrel of your big gun with a muzzle velocity of 835 feet per second and make an impression with a muzzle energy of 356 foot-pounds. There are 500 target rounds in this box of ammunition, so if you’re a serious shooter, you should get at least one. Order now, and feed your .45.

Great ammo for a 1911!on 9/1/17
I've used several brands, fiocchi, federal champion aluminum cased, tulammo steel cased, and the only consistent brand my gun seems to like the most with zero misfeeds or jams is winchester, so this is what i buy and always load even for self defense. Last time I checked, .45 acp is still the ".45 manstopper". Winchester is a brand I trust.
