More Details About Our 50 Rounds of 115gr MC 9mm Ammo by Remington

9mm has become one of the most popular semi-auto calibers in the country, not only among the general public but in the military and law enforcement communities. This particular ammunition is known as 9mm Luger after its creator, Georg Luger. It’s also known as 9mmx19mm Parabellum, which is a fitting title for a widely-used self-defense caliber: Parabellum is taken from the Latin phrase “Si vis pacem, para bellum” which means “If you seek peace, prepare for war.” It is a well-suited name and was also the motto of the German weapons manufacturer that first debuted the 9mm round.

Don’t let the MC designation on this ammunition confuse you; it’s simply Remington’s name for FMJ. Both MC and FMJ are designed not to expand and are jacketed except for the rear part of the bullet. This makes them a good choice for target practice, tactical training, and plinking. At 115 they’re on the lighter end of the spectrum for 9mm, which makes them faster than their heavier counterparts. They have a muzzle velocity of 1,145 feet per second and a muzzle energy of 335 foot-pounds. In addition, each round is produced in a virgin brass, boxer-primed case, so they’re reloadable. That means you can hit the range, empty the box, collect your brass, reload, and go right on back to shoot some more.

All of Remington’s ammunition is American made. Their original headquarters is still located in Ilion, New York, and they also have plants throughout the South. Ammunition and components are now produced at their Lonoke, Arkansas, plant. You get 50 rounds when you order this box of ammunition, and that’s a good starting point. And remember, you and your favorite 9mm gun will go through it faster than you think, so you might want to order multiples boxes.

Dependable Ammo at a Great Price

Performance

I was always a revolver-man growing up, but when I got into Police Academy we had to use Semi-Automatics. I knew that my firearm and the ammunition is an investment that could potentially have my life depending upon it, so I went with a trusted name.

I have never shot anything except Remington UMC rounds through my firearm and out of over 5,000 rounds shot through my firearm to this day, I've had maybe 5 failures.

I had a Short-Round once, and called up Remington. They rushed me out two new boxes of ammo for reporting it to them. If that's not customer service, I don't know what is.

I trust Ammo for Sale because they were able to get me the quantity that I needed at an excellent price on short notice. They always have the highest-quality ammunition and their check-out process is hassle-free! The ammo arrived ahead of schedule and I could tell that they took a great deal of time in making sure the packaging was secure. This is why I always come back here first!

Hello, I use a Glock 48, before i purchase, IM just making sure, these are SAAMI standards and that they are not +P+... Thanks Posted On: 6/1/2019 By: Dency Riverancy
This is standard pressure ammo. This ammo has an advertised velocity of 1145 feet per second. +P ammo typically has a velocity above 1250 feet per second for a 115gr bullet and +P+ will be above 1300 and is quite rare for such a lightweight bullet.
