- Q & A
9mm rounds, favored by law enforcement agencies and the military alike, are also perhaps the single most popular semi-auto defense round on the market. Not only are they more readily available and more affordable than most larger calibers but they have less recoil while still packing a nice punch. If you conceal carry a 9mm, you need to be proficient with it, and this 1,000 round box of ammunition gives you the supplies necessary to hone your skills. Don’t neglect your 9mm by leaving it to collect dust in your safe. Keep it well-fed and warm with this CCI 9mm 115 grain FMJ ammunition.
115 grain is a good weight for training. It’s fairly lightweight, which lessens recoil somewhat, allowing for more practice since less recoil can be a bit easier on your hands. Another great thing about lighter weight rounds is speed, and these CCI rounds have it in spades. They have a muzzle velocity of 1,145 feet per second, so they’ll reach your target fast. Muzzle energy is 341 foot-pounds, so they’ll also put a nice hole in your paper or cans or whatever you use as targets. And, of course, they’re FMJ rounds, which are designed to penetrate without expansion and are specifically meant for target practice and training. Each round has an aluminum case and berdan primer, and they’re non-corrosive.
CCI has been manufacturing ammunition for more than 60 years, and in that time they’ve turned the process into an exact science. Their ammunition is designed and manufactured to precise standards under the watchful eyes of the CCI team and their state-of-the-art primer facility has ensured superior production even when other companies have shortages. Your ammunition is produced in Lewiston, Idaho, along the banks of the Snake River, and it just doesn’t get much more American than that. Order your 1,000 round box today.
