More Details About Our 1080 Rounds of 123gr FMJ 7.62x39mm Ammo by Red Army Standard Lacquered

The 7.62x39mm was designed in 1944 by the Soviet Union. It was originally created for the Russian RPD – Ruchnoy Pulemyot Degtyaryova, translated as the Degtyaryova hand-held machine gun. The RPD was a light machine gun that was, for all intents and purposes, the gun that launched today’s squad automatic weapons. Three well-known Russian designers worked on the RPD: Vasily Degtyaryova, Sergei Simonov, and Alexei Sudayev. And although the RPD was eventually replaced by Kalashnikov’s weapons, it remains in use in some African and Asian countries.

If you have a gun chambered in 7.62x39mm, whether it’s an SKS, AK-47, or something else altogether, you need some ammo. Take a look at these rounds from Red Army Standard Ammunition. They weigh in at 123 grain which makes them fairly lightweight for the cartridge size. Because they are lighter they’re able to travel at higher speeds than their heavier counterparts and also help keep felt recoil down. These are FMJ, Full Metal Jacket, rounds and so do not expand on impact. Target rounds fired from a rifle can travel for miles before stopping which is one reason it’s a must to have a good backstop in place. This ammunition is meant for target practice and plinking.

When you order this big box of ammunition from Red Army Standard you get a fantastic 1080 steel-cased target rounds. That’s enough ammunition to get serious trigger time with your favorite gun whether you plan on honing your marksmanship skills or just want to punch holes in empty cans and water jugs. The possibilities are practically endless. Red Army Standard is a line associated with Century International Arms, which is located in Florida. They import cartridges from Russia and other Eastern Bloc countries for use here in the United States. Your rifle is Russian, so keep it fed with ammunition from its homeland. Order now.
